Troubleshoot: Changes to blog entry moderation settings are not reflected when using Lotus Connections

When using Lotus Connections as the service provider to manage blogs, blog entries are still moderated after you disable the moderation setting.

Problem

After changing the value of the /config/soccom/lc/moderatePosts setting in the adapter.config file to disable blog entry moderation, blog entries are still moderated.

Solution

When you modify the /config/soccom/lc/moderatePosts setting in the adapter.config file, this updated setting only applies to new blog entries and does not affect the permissions for existing blog entries. Use the Blogs user interface in Lotus Connections to change the permissions for existing blog entries from Draft to Author when moderation is disabled.
