Create a Product Comparison metaphor
The steps in this section refer to creating a Product Comparison metaphor.
Procedure
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Open Product Advisor:
- Click Merchandise > Product Advisor.
- Click Products > Product Advisor.
The list of categories and its status for search space creation displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.
- Select the check box to the left of the category name for which to create a Product Comparison metaphor. Click New Comparison. The Product Comparison page displays.
- Click Add to add features to the metaphor. Help is available for this page if you require help using the fields.
- Click OK to save the metaphor.
- Click Apply and Preview to save the metaphor and view the Product Comparison JSP file as seen by customers. To use the Preview functionality in a B2B direct store, the logon ID that you are using must be assigned the role of a Registered Customer.
