Remove a Product Exploration metaphor
The Product Exploration metaphor is intended for customers who are familiar with the features of a given category of products. The customer selects the feature values that they want, which initiates a parametric search of the product data. A resulting list of the appropriate products matching the parameter values displays. This section explains how to remove a Product Exploration metaphor.
Procedure
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Open Product Advisor:
- Click Merchandise > Product Advisor.
- Click Products > Product Advisor.
The list of categories and its status for search space creation displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.
- Select the check box to the left of the category name for which to remove the metaphor.
- Click Remove Exploration. The Product Exploration metaphor will be removed. The status in the Product Exploration column will change to No.
