Customize customer segments
Business users create customer segments using the Customer Segments properties view in the Management Center Marketing tool. The properties view contains all the attributes for defining a customer segment, arranged in a series of tabs.
To customize customer segment support for the site, you can add new attributes or remove those that the site does not use.
- Add a new customer segment attribute to Management Center
You can add new customer segment attributes to the customer segment properties view in the Management Center Marketing tool. This gives business users more options for creating customer segments to use as targets for marketing activities and promotions.
- Remove a customer segment attribute from Management Center
If there are certain customer segment attributes that the site does not use or support, you can remove those attributes from the user interface. This way, business users can no longer see the attribute when working with customer segments.
