Customize the palette and template picker contents
You might want business users to see a customized view of the element palette in the Activity Builder, or the New Activity From Template window (called the marketing activity template picker). If so, you can add or remove items from these views, or rearrange their contents.
- Changing the contents of the element palette in the Activity Builder
When business users create Web or Dialog activities, they choose triggers, targets, actions, and branches from the element palette. You can customize what business users see in the element palette. For example, you can reorder the elements, group them differently, or hide elements from business users.
- Element palette
The element palette is the location in the Activity Builder from which business users choose triggers, targets, actions, and branch elements to add to Web and Dialog activities.
- Changing the contents of the marketing activity template picker
When a business user starts creating a new Web or Dialog activity, the New Activity From Template window presents a list of templates. You can customize what business users see in this window, also known as the marketing activity template picker. For example, you can add a new template folder or hide templates that you do not use.
- Marketing activity template picker
The marketing activity template picker is the window labeled New Activity From Template that displays when a business user begins creating a new Web or Dialog activity. This window presents the available standard and custom templates for either Web or Dialog activities so that the business user can choose the appropriate template. You can customize what business users see in this window.
