Get MarketingSpotData service
The Get MarketingSpotData service is used to find data to display to a customer in an e-Marketing Spot for Web activities. The e-Marketing Spot data contains the catalog entries, catalog groups, and marketing content to display. Marketing information such as the associated campaign, activity, and experiment test element are returned with each data element.
The service call must include the e-Marketing Spot name, but can also include other parameters such as the current command name, current URL parameters, and cookie contents. The marketing services retrieve additional parameters from the business context, for example, the store ID, the customer's user ID, and the customer's personalization ID. All these parameters are referred to as trigger parameters.
