Delete a sales category

You can delete a sales category from a sales catalog.

Procedure

To delete a sales category:

Open the Catalogs tool.

From the explorer filter, select Sales Catalog Categories.

On the explorer tree, navigate to the parent sales catalog category; right-click and click Show Subcategories. Right-click the sales category; then click Delete. You are provided with the following choices: Delete, or Cancel.
You are provided with the following choices: Delete, Remove, or Cancel.

Option Description
Delete To delete the sales category from the sales catalog and delete all references to the category, select Delete.
Remove To delete the sales category from the parent sales catalog category, but keep the sales category and other references to the category in other parent sales catalog categories, select Remove.

Click Save and Close, or click Close.
