Deleting attribute values
You might want to delete an attribute for example, if the manufacturer no longer makes the product in a certain color, or the product is no longer dry clean only.About this task
To delete an attribute value:
- Open the Catalogs tool.
- From the explorer tree, select a catalog.
- Find the product whose defining attribute you want to change.
- Right-click the product; then click Open. The Product Properties view displays.
- Click Defining Attributes or Descriptive Attributes.
- On the list view, right-click the attribute whose value you want to delete; then click Delete or select the value and click Delete
.
- To delete a defining attribute from the properties view:
- On the list view, right-click the attribute whose value you want to delete; then click Open The Attribute Properties view displays.
- In the Manage Attributes tab, click Attribute Values.
- In the Value column, right-click the value you want to delete; then click Delete or select the value and click Delete
.
- Click Save and Close, or click Close. The attribute is deleted.
