Description
WebSphere Commerce facilitates targeted marketing by enabling Marketing staff to interact with the site directly, instead of requesting that the Information Technology department make required changes. In addition, targeted marketing may be directed through the e-mail channel. Marketing Managers create large-scale marketing campaigns that target various customer segments. Campaigns drive site sales, increase revenue, or increase customer awareness. Within a campaign you may offer promotions and coupons, suggest products and categories of products and advertise marketing collateral.
