Troubleshoot: Error message when applying a fix pack using the WebSphere Commerce Update Installer

When applying a WebSphere Commerce fix pack, a message indicates that APARs are already installed on your system.

 

Problem

You receive the following error message when using the WebSphere Commerce Update Installer to apply the maintenance

The following APARs are installed or selected already for the current maintenance package.

 

Solution

This message means that the fixes or APARs that you have selected to install is included in, or superseded by, the fix pack. All of the APARS that are listed can be left unchecked when installing the fix pack.
