Uninstall WebSphere Commerce fix packs

Uninstalling the fix pack restores the WebSphere Commerce product files to the previous level. These instructions also remove the fix pack code from those WebSphere Commerce or WebSphere Commerce Payments instances that were updated at the same time the fix pack was applied to your system.

If you have enabled features of WebSphere Commerce feature packs, you should not uninstall the fix pack that supports the feature pack. Refer to the prerequisites listed in Install WebSphere Commerce feature packs interactively to determine which fix pack is required by the feature pack. WebSphere Commerce instances or WebSphere Commerce Payments instances that were created after the installation of the fix pack, will remain at the current fix pack level. Following these instructions will not restore these instances to the previous level. If these instances are required to be at the previous level, contact IBM^® Support for further assistance.

1. Windows: Ensure that you are logged in with a user ID that is a member of the Windows Administration group.

2. AIX|Solaris|Linux|Ensure that you are logged in as the root user for WebSphere Commerce.

3. I5/OS|Ensure that you are logged in with a user profile that has *SECOFR authority.

4. Complete one of the following steps:

   • To remove the fix pack from the WebSphere Commerce product, stop the following servers:

     • WebSphere Commerce Help server.

     • WebSphere Commerce Configuration Manager server.

   • To remove the fix pack from the WebSphere Commerce instance or the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance only, start the following servers:

     • WebSphere Commerce database server.

     • WebSphere Commerce Application Server. For example, server1.

     • If you have a federated environment:

       • The WAS nodeagents are started.

       • The WAS deployment manager is started.

5. Uninstall using one of these methods:

   Option	Description
   GUI uninstallation	Complete this section to uninstall the WebSphere Commerce fix pack. If you have applied the fix pack to your WebSphere Commerce or WebSphere Commerce Payments instance, uninstall the fix pack from that instance before uninstalling the fix pack from the WebSphere Commerce installation directory: Remove the fix pack from an instance interactively. Remove the fix pack from the installation directory interactively.
   Silent uninstallation	Complete this section to silently uninstall the WebSphere Commerce fix pack. If you have applied the fix pack to your WebSphere Commerce or WebSphere Commerce Payments instance, uninstall the fix pack from that instance before uninstalling the fix pack from the WebSphere Commerce installation directory: Remove the fix pack from an instance silently. Remove the fix pack from the installation directory silently.

• AIX|Linux|Solaris|Windows:

  Uninstall WebSphere Commerce fix packs interactively
  You can uninstall your fix pack using an interactive method which uses a graphical wizard. After navigating through the wizard panels your fix pack will be uninstalled.

• Uninstall WebSphere Commerce fix packs silently
  You can uninstall your fix pack using the silent method which uses a command line; no graphical interface is required.
