Checklist: Installing WAS on the IBM i platform

Print this article and use it as a checklist of steps for installing WebSphere Application Server products on the IBM i platform.


Tasks

  1. Step 1: Preparing for the installation

    1. _____ Determine if WAS for IBM i is already installed on the server.

      that we are looking for v9.0 only, not previous versions of the product.

    3. _____ Schedule enough time for each step of the process.

  2. Step 2: Installing WAS
