Editing cell properties

As you edit tables in your Web pages, you can change cell attributes such as identifying a cell as a data cell or a header cell, changing cell dimensions, aligning text in a cell, adding color, and others..

Create a table.

To change cell properties in a table:

  1. Select one or more cells in the table. If you select multiple cells , you can change attributes of all of them at once.

  2. In the Properties view, click the tab that corresponds to the tag you want to edit, for example TD.

  3. To change a data cell to a header cell, select the

Header radio button in the Cell type group.

  4. To align text in the cell, select values from the drop-down lists next to

    Horizontal and

    Vertical in the Alignment section.

Width as a percentage. Type a percentage ratio from 1 through 100 in the field on the left, and select % from the list to the right of the field.
