Update the configuration values for stand-alone servers

To ensure configuration consistency, run the WpsUpdate.py script.

Procedure

1. In OMVS, switch to the administrator user ID.

   For example:

   su wsadmin

2. From a stand-alone server node:

   1. Go to the WAS_HOME/profiles/default/bin directory.

      For example:

      cd /WebSphere/V8T3Z1/AppServer/profiles/default/bin

   2. Run the WpsUpdate.py script.

      For example:

      ./wsadmin.sh -conntype NONE -f /usr/lpp/zWebSphere/V8R0/zOS-config/samples/WpsUpdate.py -lang jython -node w8nodeb -server w8sr01b

      where:

      -conntype

      Indicates that the script runs in local mode.

      -f

      Depicts the default location where samples, including the WpsUpdate.py script, are stored.

      -lang

      Identifies the language of the script as Jython.
