Configure Business Space to work with IBM Case Manager
If your team uses IBM Case Manager, you can configure IBM BPM human task management widgets to work in the IBM Case Manager environment. This allows users to work seamlessly with IBM BPM tasks and IBM Case Manager work items using an integrated inbox widget.
This topic applies to the following products:
- IBM BPM Standard
- IBM BPM Advanced
Before you configure human task management widgets to work with IBM Case Manager, :
- Install and configure IBM Case Manager V5.1 or later, including Business Space, in one cell.
- Install and configure IBM BPM Standard or IBM BPM Advanced in another cell.
Procedure
- Configure cross-cell security, including SSO and SSL. Perform Configure cross-cell security for IBM BPM and IBM Case Manager.
- Register the widgets in Business Space. Depending on where you have Business Space configured, perform one of the following.
- If you are using Business Space on IBM Case Manager, perform Registering IBM BPM widgets in IBM Case Manager.
- If you are using Business Space on IBM BPM Advanced, perform Registering IBM Case Manager widgets in IBM BPM Advanced.
- Register the IBM Case Manager REST services in IBM BPM. Perform Registering IBM Case Manager REST services in IBM BPM.
- Ensure that the necessary federation domain exists. If you did not use the addICMSystem command's -federateSystem true option to create the federation domain named BPM_ICM_Federation_Domain in the previous step, create a federation domain that contains the IBM BPM and IBM Case Manager cells. To do this, you can use the createBPMApiFederationDomain administration command. You can use a different domain name.
