Configure Business Space to work with IBM Case Manager

If your team uses IBM Case Manager, you can configure IBM BPM human task management widgets to work in the IBM Case Manager environment. This allows users to work seamlessly with IBM BPM tasks and IBM Case Manager work items using an integrated inbox widget.

Procedure

  1. Configure cross-cell security, including SSO and SSL. Perform Configure cross-cell security for IBM BPM and IBM Case Manager.
  2. Register the widgets in Business Space. Depending on where you have Business Space configured, perform one of the following.

  3. Register the IBM Case Manager REST services in IBM BPM. Perform Registering IBM Case Manager REST services in IBM BPM.
  4. Ensure that the necessary federation domain exists. If you did not use the addICMSystem command's -federateSystem true option to create the federation domain named BPM_ICM_Federation_Domain in the previous step, create a federation domain that contains the IBM BPM and IBM Case Manager cells. To do this, you can use the createBPMApiFederationDomain administration command. You can use a different domain name.
