Push Notification
The unified push notification mechanism enables sending notifications to mobile phones. Notifications are sent via the vendor infrastructure. For example, iPhone notifications are sent from the WL server to specialized Apple servers and from there to the relevant phones.

Architecture
Unlike other IBM Worklight servers, the push server requires outbound connection to Apple and Google servers using ports defined by these companies.
When running a cluster of application servers, only one node will actually send push messages to Apple and Google servers. This server is selected randomly.
The push notifications tab in the IBM Worklight Console provides a view of the various entities in the push notification chain.
