Specifying the stereotype style for shapes

In UML visualization, you can specify the stereotype style for individual shapes to display stereotypes with decoration icons or text in double angle brackets.

To specify the stereotype style for shapes:

  1. In the diagram editor, select a shape or a group of shapes.

  2. Click Diagram > Filters > Stereotype and Visibility Style and then select one of the following options:

    • To displays stereotypes with decoration icons and text in double angle brackets (<< >>), click Stereotype: Decoration and Text.

    • To displays stereotypes with decoration icons, click Stereotype: Decoration.

    • To displays stereotypes with shape image-based icons, click Stereotype: Shape Image.

    • To display stereotypes with text in double angle brackets (<< >>), click Stereotype: Text.

    • Not to display any stereotype, click Stereotype: None.

Note: You can also specify the stereotype styles for shapes in the Properties view.
