Changing the background color for shapes

In UML visualization, you can change the background color for individual shapes to add visual interest or to convey conceptual groupings between them in a diagram.

To change the background color for shapes:

  1. In the diagram editor, select a shape of group of shapes.

  2. Click Diagram > Fill Color and click a color.

Note: You can also change the background color for shapes in the Properties view.
