Importing categories from a unit test registry

You can import categories when you open a unit test registry, and map the categories to values from a value file.

1. In the Web Services Explorer, turn to the Open Registry page.

2. Select the Is WebSphere UDDI Registry checkbox.

3. Enter the host and port of the WebSphere UDDI registry.

4. Select Check for user-defined categories.

5. Click Go. If the registry contains any categories, they are now listed on the Registry Details page.

6. Click Edit in the category's Actions column to edit the category, and click Browse to select a category value file you can associate with the category. The file provides a tree of values in the category hierarchy.

7. Add the registry to Favorites to save the mapping from the category to its value file.

You now have a set of categories defined that will be available for selection when you publish to or search the registry.
