Editing an object's color, gradation, and texture
You can customize an object's color, gradation and texture.
To change an object's color, gradation, or texture:
- Select the object that you want to edit. Select Edit > Edit Object. Alternatively, you can double-click the object.
- Click the Color tab.
Note: If you are editing a shape object, you can also change the Line color and Fill color separately. The Line color tab edits the line that surrounds the object, while the Fill color tab edits the contents within the shape.
- Specify one of the following:
- If you want to change to a solid color, click the Solid Color
button, and select a color from the list.
- If you want to change the texture, click the Gradation
button, and select a texture from the list.
- If you want to change the gradation, click the Texture
button, and select a gradation from the list.
- From the List, select the new color, gradation, or texture that you want to use.
Note: You can only specify one attribute (color, gradation, or texture) for each selected object.
- If you want to adjust the object's transparency, click the General tab. Move the Transparency control to the level of transparency that you want. 0% transparency means that your object is completely opaque and 100% transparency means that you object is completely transparent.
- When you are finished adjusting these settings, close the dialog.
