Cropping an object

You can crop a portion of an object and place it on the canvas as a separate object.

To crop an object:

1. On the Operation Toolbar, click the drop-down arrow on the right of the Clip Rectangle button

   , and select the Clip Ellipse

   icon.

2. Select the part of the object that you want to crop with the mouse.

3. On the Operation Toolbar, click the Duplicate

   button. The portion that you cropped appears as a separate object on the canvas.

   Note: The cropped portion becomes an image object.

Now, you can edit and position both the new image object and the original object on the canvas.
