Converting an object into an image object

You can convert logo, button, or shape objects into image objects. By doing so, you can add various effects and adjust the object's contrast and brightness.

To convert objects into image objects:

  1. On the canvas, select the object or the group of objects that you want to convert.

Note: If you want to convert several objects into a single image object, group them first.

  2. Select Object > Rasterize.

    Hint:

If you would like to preserve your original object, but create a duplicate image object, select Object > Duplicate and Rasterize instead.

  3. On the Object Stack, an image object is marked with the Stack Image

Picture of the Stack image icon icon at the lower left corner of the thumbnail.
