Changing themes

By using both the Outline and Properties views, you can quickly change the theme for a label, page, or the entire portal project.

 

Changing the default theme for the entire portal application

Within the Outline view,

• Expand the Elements node; then expand the Themes node.

• Click to highlight the theme that you want to set as the default.

  Note: This will activate the Properties view for the theme.

• In the Properties view, click the check box labeled default.

The default theme only applies to labels and pages that do not have a theme already specified.

 

Changing the theme for a label or page

You can specify a theme for a label or page as long as the label or page is the My Portal node, or one of the nodes immediately under the My Portal node in the Outline view. To change the theme:

• Click on a label or page node to activate its Properties view.

• Within the Properties view, use the Theme drop-down menu to choose the theme that you want to use for your label or page.

If you specify the theme for a label or page, you override any theme changes for the default theme or My Portal's theme that you made for this label or page.
