Set the search user ID
If you work with EJB on a secure server, set the search user ID on the remote search server...
- Open the WAS admin console and select...

- On the portal that accesses the EJB, from the WAS admin console, determine the WAS Admin User...
Global Security | Standalone LDAP registry | primary admin user ID
- Return to the WAS admin console of the machine where the EJB is installed.
- Type the name that you found as the user ID in a previous step as the search string and click Search.
As a result, the user ID and its configuration parameters are displayed in the Available box.
- Add this user ID to the Selected box by clicking the double-angled bracket > > button.
- Click OK to save the updates.
- Restart the WAS on which the PSEStandalone is installed.
