Replace the search administrator user ID
If you changed the portal administrator user ID or password, update the search administrator user ID to match the same values.
- To change the information stored in the SearchAdminUser alias:
- Log in to the WAS admin console.
- Click Security > Global security.
- Under Authentication, click Java Authentication and Authorization Service > J2C authentication data.
- Edit the SearchAdminUser alias.
- Update the user ID and/or password to match your WebSphere Portal administrator information.
- Restart the WebSphere Portal servers.
