IBM i cluster: Prepare user registries

Install and setup an LDAP server as a user registry to store user information and authenticate users in high availability production environment.

Prerequisites

Prepare the IBM i OS
Prepare the primary node on IBM i
Prepare the WAS Deployment Manager on IBM i

Choose the appropriate LDAP server to install and setup:

• Prepare a Tivoli Directory Server for IBM i
