Use portlet wires
Use wires to exchange information or actions between portlets. To access the wiring Tool portlet...
- Access the Manage Pages portlet.
- Locate the page for which you want to add wires.
- Click the Edit Page Layout icon for that page. This takes you to the Edit Layout panel.
- Click the Wires tab. You can now start working with wires.
- Work with portlet wires
Wires allow portlets to interact with each other. For example, portlets can exchange information, or an action in one portlet can update another portlet.- Select the matching mode
