Technical overview - IBM Security Identity Manager

IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) is used to manage identity records representing people in a business organization. ISIM centralizes the process of provisioning resources, such as provisioning accounts on operating systems and backend applications. Business processes and security policies can be added. ISIM provides a uniform way to manage user accounts and to delegate administration, including self-service activities and a help desk user interface.
