Organization tree overview

Business organizations have various configurations containing their subordinate units, including services and employees. For a specific set of business needs, we can configure IBM Security Identity Manager to provide a hierarchy of services. We can configure organizations, users, and other elements in a tree that corresponds to the needs of a user population.

We cannot browse and create entities by navigating the organization tree. The association to a business unit within the organization tree is specified during the creation of the entity.
