Forms
A form is a user interface window used to collect and display values for account, service, or user attributes.
IBM Security Identity Manager includes a form designer, which runs as a Java™ applet, that we use to modify existing user, service and account forms. For example, we might add the fax number attribute and an associated entry field to capture that number for a particular account. We might remove an account attribute that the organization does not want a user to see. If you remove an attribute from a form, it is completely removed; that is, even system administrators cannot see the attribute.
We can see only those attributes that are on the form and that we have read or write access to (as granted by access control items). Using the form designer, we can also customize forms for other elements in the organization tree, such as location or organization unit.
