Manage the index page

From the index page, we can set up ISIM virtual appliance as a single server containing the deployment manager and cluster member node. We can also set up ISIM virtual appliance to add another node to an existing single server. We can also create a backup node from the index page.

1. In a web browser, enter the host name of ISIM virtual appliance in the following format.

   https://host name of ISIM

   For example: https://isim1.jk.example.com

2. Log on to ISIM virtual appliance console with the administrator credentials.

   • Configured login: admin
   • Password: admin
3. Do one of the following actions to set up the type of node to create.

   Set up a primary node for ISIM cluster

   Click Setup to set up a primary node for ISIM cluster. The Mode Selection page is displayed.

   Set up a member node for ISIM cluster

   Click Setup to set up a member node for ISIM cluster. The Connect to Primary page is displayed.

   Set up a backup of the primary node for ISIM cluster

   Click Setup to set up a backup for ISIM cluster. The Connect to Primary page is displayed.
