Quick Appointment Version 5.02
The Quick Appointment Version 5.02 portlet allows the user to create a simple meeting document in the user's Notes mail database on a Domino server.

Use the Quick Appointment portlet
The Quick Appointment portlet stores appointment information in the Notes mail database specified for the current user of the portal in that user's Person document in the Domino Directory.
Portlet security
The portlet supports single sign-on (SSO), so a user does not have to enter a name and password. A user must have the appropriate access to both the Domino server that has been set up for use with Lotus Collaborative Components, and to the user's Notes mail database on the server. The Quick Appointment portlet is currently not supported over SSL.
Test assumptions
The Quick Appointment portlet has been tested on and is compatible with all supported WebSphere Portal platforms, as listed in Supported hardware and software .
Set up the Quick Appointment portlet
Before you install Quick Appointment, make sure your WebSphere Portal environment meets the following client and server requirements.
Client requirements
This portlet supports browsers and devices capable of rendering HTML markup. The following table provides detailed information.

Server requirements
The Quick Appointment portlet requires WebSphere Portal Version 5.0 or 5.02.
The Quick Appointment portlet requires network access to a Domino server. The HTTP service must be running on the Domino server, and Java support must be enabled on it.
The Quick Appointment portlet works on the following versions of Domino:
6.5 and 6.5.1 6.0 5.09 5.05 5.01
