Quick Appointment Version 5.02

The Quick Appointment Version 5.02 portlet allows the user to create a simple meeting document in the user's Notes mail database on a Domino server.

For information about working with the Quick Appointment portlet, see the Portlet Help that is available from the portlet title bar.

Use the Quick Appointment portlet

The Quick Appointment portlet stores appointment information in the Notes mail database specified for the current user of the portal in that user's Person document in the Domino Directory.

Portlet security

The portlet supports single sign-on (SSO), so a user does not have to enter a name and password. A user must have the appropriate access to both the Domino server that has been set up for use with Lotus Collaborative Components, and to the user's Notes mail database on the server. The Quick Appointment portlet is currently not supported over SSL.
