Other products included with WebSphere Application Server

WebSphere Application Server scripts
WebSphere Application Server provides several scripts that you can use in administration and application development. This topic provides a complete list of the scripts included with the product.

WebSphere Application Server stores configuration information in XML documents. The WebSphere Configuration Documentation describes the XML element types and attribute names are used for configuration. This reference is provided to help you understand how the XML configuration documents are structured.

Note: Do not manually edit the XML files. Syntax errors in the configuration files may cause the application server to fail when you attempt to start it. To make changes to the configuration, use the administrative tools provided with WebSphere Application Server.
