Migrate WebSphere Portal Configurations
When you are ready to migrate your WebSphere Portal configurations, you can use either a command line script or the migration wizard to export the data from the previous version and then import that data into the current version.
Choose one of the following migration options:

IBM WebSphere Portal Express provides a script file that you can use to invoke different migration tasks. - Using the migration wizard
The migration wizard is a post-installation, ease-of-use tool that allows you to automatically perform the migration instead of using the command line script. The tasks that you can run include exporting information and importing information.
