XML configuration interface

We can use the XML configuration interface to export and import HCL WebSphere Portal configurations. This way we can configure selected features or areas of the portal. We can also transfer a complete configuration from one portal to another. Imports and updates are influenced by the property settings in the portal configuration services

We can export and import XML configurations via two methods.

• XML configuration command line client (xmlaccess.sh)
• Administration portlets
