Add a block to an order
We can manually add blocks to an order to prevent the order items from being released to fulfillment. The blocked order can be an addition to any blocks that are automatically added to the order. Items that are released to fulfillment are not affected by adding a block to the order.
Procedure
- Open WebSphere Commerce Accelerator
- Find the order to which we want to add a block.
- Select the order to which we want to add blocks and click Manage blocks.
- Click Add.
- Select the block code for the block to add to the order. If we select a block code that is already applied to an order, the existing block is overwritten with this new block.
- Optional: Enter a comment about why we are applying the order block.
- Click OK to apply the block.
Results
Items remaining in this order are not to be released to fulfillment until all blocks on the order are resolved.
