Site Content List widget

Use this widget in a layout for a search results page to display links to site content that matched the customer's search term. This widget broadens the search results to include more than just matching products.

Typically, this widget is used in combination with a Search Summary widget and a Catalog Entry List widget. This widget displays links to the following types of site content, as long as this content is crawled and indexed by our search engine:

• Content pages, such as a Customer Support page, a Return Policy page, or a brand landing page.

• Other web content for example, PDF documents, spreadsheets, and videos.

Page dependency

Use this widget only in layouts for search results pages (layouts assigned to search terms). For any other page type, this widget is not rendered on the page.

Example of widget content

This example shows the Site Content List widget on a search results page. In this example, the layout template has tabbed slots, which are used to separate the product search results from the site content (Articles & Videos) search results. There is no requirement to put this widget in a tabbed slot.

Widget properties and content

This widget has no configurable properties other than the widget name. The widget content is automatically retrieved from your indexed store data.
