Delete shipping modes
Before you begin
- Before deleting a shipping mode listed in the Shipping notebook, ensure that the shipping mode is not referenced in the contract and policy assets for the store. Removing the shipping mode with the notebook makes the contract invalid.

If the contract is active and to remove the shipping provider, create a new version of the contract, then make the changes. For more information, see Creating a new version of a contract. You can then make changes in the Shipping notebook.
Procedure
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Click Store > Change Shipping. The Shipping overview page is displayed. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.
- Click Shipping modes. The Shipping modes page is displayed.
- Select the shipping mode to delete from the list. Click Delete. The shipping mode is deleted from the list. Note that deleting the shipping mode will not cause the order items to be deleted automatically by cascading.
