Changing a product's category

Procedure

Use one of the following methods to change the product category:

1. Change Product notebook:

   1. Select a field in the product row whose category to change, and from the Actions menu, click Change Product. The Change Product notebook opens.

   2. On the Category page, highlight the new category from the master catalog's category tree.

   3. Click OK to save the changes and close the notebook.

2. Product Management dynamic table:

   1. In the dynamic table, click the Category tab.

   2. Click the linked name under Category. The Category Tree window opens.

   3. Highlight the new category for the product. Click OK.

   4. The dynamic table will display the new category for the product. Click Save to save the changes.
