Create price-override limits

The limits regarding the negotiated prices that a customer service representative (CSR) can offer are defined per CSR group.

Procedure

1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
   

2. Click Store > Price-Override Limits. The Price-Override Limits list page displays, containing the price-overrides currently defined for the selected store. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.

3. Click New. This will open the Price-Override notebook.

4. Enter the appropriate information on the General page.

5. Click Prices to display the catalog filter.

6. Navigate to the category or product for which to set a price override limit.

7. Click the category or product, and select Set Price-Override Limit from the pop-up menu to open the Price-Override dialog. Using this dialog, you can set the price-override limits for the selected CSR group, and the selected product or category. The price-override limits are set in terms of a percentage markup on the nominal price defined for the selected product. Click OK to close the dialog.

8. Optionally, enter the appropriate information about the Remarks page.

9. Click OK to save and apply the price-override limit.
