Create content spots

Use the New content spot wizard to create content spots.

Before you begin

Before the content spot can be used, a site designer must include the content spot code on the appropriate page.

Procedure

1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
   

2. Click Store > Content Spots. The Content Spot list displays, containing the content spots currently defined for the selected store. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.

3. Click New. The New content spot wizard opens, enabling you to define the content spot.

4. Complete the Content spot Definition page as appropriate.

5. Click Finish to save the content spot. The content spot is displayed in the content spots list.
