Fulfillment centers
Fulfillment centers are used by stores as both inventory warehouses and shipping and receiving centers. One store may have one or many fulfillment centers associated with it. In the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator, select one fulfillment center at logon time, if you have been assigned one or more roles pertaining to fulfillment.
Fulfillment centers are used by stores as both inventory warehouses and shipping and receiving centers. One store may have one or many fulfillment centers associated with it. In the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator, select one fulfillment center at logon time, if you have been assigned one or more roles pertaining to fulfillment. You can also change to a different fulfillment center without logging out by clicking the Select icon in the upper left corner of the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
If there is only one fulfillment center available, the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator will select it automatically, but you can still select None from the Fulfillment Center list. If there is more than one fulfillment center available, the selection default is Please specify, and you can select a fulfillment center from the list. Leaving the selection as Please specify is the same as selecting None in the previous case. This is to avoid accidental logon with the incorrect fulfillment center selected. If there is no fulfillment center defined, the Fulfillment Center list does not display. Finally, if there is only one store and language available, and there is either one or zero fulfillment centers available, the Select Store and Language dialog is bypassed altogether.
