Create an RFQ response
Once buyers have submitted RFQ requests, you can respond to the request.
This file describes the general steps to creating a response to an RFQ request, using the RFQ creation wizard. For steps on how to respond to specific parts of an RFQ, see:

To create an RFQ response:
Procedure
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- From the Sales menu, click RFQs. A list of RFQ requests displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.
- Do one of the following steps:
- If you know that no responses have been made to this RFQ request, select the check box next to the RFQ to respond to and click Respond. The RFQ creation wizard opens, displaying the General page first.
- To determine if any previous responses to this request exist before creating a new one, click Responses. The RFQ Response page displays any existing responses for the selected request. Click New to open the RFQ creation wizard to create a new response. The General page displays first.
- Provide appropriate information for the fields and use the links on the left side to switch between each page.
- You may also modify, retract, or cancel the response at this time.
- Click OK to save the changes and close the notebook.

You can work with price adjustments for products based on a percentage markdown, or a fixed (specific) change in the price.
