Manage distributor service agreements
After the distributor service agreement is deployed, the Seller Administrator or Channel Manager can perform the following tasks to manage a distributor's service agreement.
- Find distributors
The Seller Administrator or Channel Manager can search for a specific distributor based on the search criteria they enter.
- View a summary of a distributor service agreement
Use the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to view a summary of a distributor service agreements.
- Deactivate or activating a distributor service agreement
Deactivating a distributor prevents a distributor from providing quote information and accepting shopping carts. Only services agreements with a status of Active can be deactivated. A deactivated distributor service agreement can be activated enabling the distributor to provide quote information and accept shopping carts. The Seller Administrator or Channel Manager can deactivate a distributor service agreement preventing the distributor from receiving and responding to request for quotes from resellers. A suspended service agreement can be reactivated to allow the distributor to receive and respond to request for quotes from resellers.
- Delete distributor service agreements
The Seller Administrator or Channel Manager can mark a service agreement for deletion from WebSphere Commerce. Service agreements marked for deletion become inactive and cannot be reactivated.
- Refresh the distributors list
If you change the status of items in the distributors list (such as adding or removing a distributor), you may want to refresh the list.
