Deactivate or activating a distributor service agreement
Deactivate a distributor prevents a distributor from providing quote information and accepting shopping carts. Only services agreements with a status of Active can be deactivated. A deactivated distributor service agreement can be activated enabling the distributor to provide quote information and accept shopping carts. The Seller Administrator or Channel Manager can deactivate a distributor service agreement preventing the distributor from receiving and responding to request for quotes from resellers. A suspended service agreement can be reactivated to allow the distributor to receive and respond to request for quotes from resellers.
Procedure
- To deactivate a distributor service agreement:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Click Channel > Distributors.
- Select the check box to the left of the distributor service agreement that to deactivate. Only service agreements with a status of Active can be deactivated.
- Click Deactivate. The distributor service agreement is given a status of Inactive and the distributor cannot provide quote information or accept shopping carts.
- To activate a distributor service agreement:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Click Channel > Distributors.
- Select the check box to the left of the distributor service agreement that to activate. Only service agreements with a status of Inactive can be activated.
- Click Activate. The distributor service agreement is given an Active status and the distributor can provide quote information and accept shopping carts.
