Replace the advanced B2B direct store default information with the store's information
When you publish a store, it includes the same default text and logo that all other advanced B2B direct starter stores receive at creation. As a result, you might want to customize the store to make it reflect the business and the business practices.
The WebSphere Commerce Accelerator offers several tools that allow you to customize the store. You can use these tools to do the following:
- Upload the store's logo
- Change the store's name and description
- Change the store's contact information
- Change the store's location information
- Change the store's language support
- Change the store's currency support
- Change the look and feel of the store
- Change the text on store pages and the text in notification messages
Restriction: If you intend to allow access to the store with browsers that do not support Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) - for example, Netscape Communicator 4.x - select the first layout offered on the Style page when changing the look and feel of the store.
- Upload a logo
You can replace the logo in the store with another logo.
- Changing the store name and description
You can change the name of the store, or the store description that displays on storefront pages.
- Changing store contact information
Use WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to change the contact information. Customers use contact information to communicate with the store.
- Changing store location information
A store's location information is its physical address.
- Changing language support
Use WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to change the languages that customers can use in the store.
- Changing currency support
Use WebSphere Commerce to change the currency support offered in the store.
- Changing store style
Use the Change Style wizard in the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to change the style of the store, including layout, color, and banner.
- Changing text in store pages and in notification messages
Using the Change Pages page in the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator, you can change the text for selected portions of the store.
- Configure message types
You can set up the frequency and format of the messages that are sent from the store. You can configure the following messages: Message for notifying the merchant of an order E-mail; Message for daily new orders summary report E-mail; Message for monthly store front usage report E-mail; Message for store commerce reports.
