Add comments to tasks

You can add a comment to a task as a reminder to finish something later, a note to state what actions you performed, or extra instructions. All comments are added to the task group, not the individual task.

The comments are visible to all Workspace Content Contributor with access to a task in the parent task group, and any Workspace Content Approvers for the task group after all of the tasks in the task group are completed.

To add comments to tasks:


Procedure

  1. Open the Tasks tool.

  2. Find the task to add a comment to.

  3. To add a new comment, click New A new row is added to the list view.

  4. Select the new row and add a comment.

  5. Click Save and Close, or click Close.


What to do next

If you have not saved the new comment, you can remove it by selecting the comment; then click Delete. However, once saved, the comment cannot be deleted.
