Changing the components of a bundle or kit
You might want to change the components of a bundle or kit to make the bundle or kit more attractive to customers. A bundle can have products and SKUs as components. A kit can only have SKUs as components.
Procedure
- Open the Catalogs tool.
- From the explorer tree, select a catalog.
- Find the bundle or kit to change.
- On the list view or explorer tree, right-click the bundle or kit; then click Open. The Bundle or Kit Properties view displays.
- Click the Components tab.
- Change bundle or kit components. Complete the following information:
Option Description Code The bundle or kit unique identifier. This number cannot be changed. Name The name of the bundle. Quantity The amount of SKUs within the selected catalog entry. Sequence The order in which the object is displayed. Numbers are displayed in ascending order. Type The component type. Store Name The name of the extended sites store. If you are changing the components of a kit, you can change the Kit Type by selecting an option in the Kit Type context menu. For more information about kit types, see Bundles and kits.
- Delete components of a bundle or kit by following the instructions in Delete the components of a bundle or kit.
- Click Save and Close, or click Close.
