Use Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 Update 4
If you are planning to use Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 Update 4 as the WebSphere Commerce Web server, configure Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 Update 4 according to the product documentation. After you have completed installing Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 Update 4, configure WebSphere Commerce. The configuration of the Web server is completed after you create a WCS instance.

As part of the installation of the Web server plug-ins, file permissions on the Web server will be modified if you installed the Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 Update 4 as root. The permissions for the Web server configuration folder are changed so that a non-root plugin install can read the configuration files. You are notified that the permissions are being changed during the Web server plugin installation.
