Post-instance creation tasks

Non-root user

The non-root user was assigned the db2 instance owner privilege when you created the new instance. You can choose to remove it:

1. Refer to OS documentation to remove the privilege from the non-root user.

2. Edit the following file:

   non-root user home/.profile

   Remove the line below the following entry:

   db_instance_owner_home/.profile

Web Server tasks

For IBM HTTP Server:

1. IBM HTTP Server tasks
   
2. Remote Web server post-instance creation tasks.

For Microsoft IIS

1. Microsoft IIS tasks.
2. Remote Web server post-instance creation tasks.

For Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 Update 4:
